Carroll Vikel January 30, 1939 - August 18, 2024 Carroll Vikel passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on August 18, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on January 30, 1939, in Iowa City. Carroll lived a life full of passion and dedication. He was known for his love of building and restoring Oliver tractors, a hobby that brought him great joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared his enthusiasm. Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leona; brother, Gerald; children, Tami and Tracy; granddaughter, Alexa. He is survived by his wife Linda of 60 years; his son, Trent; grandchildren, Chelsey(Seth), Casey, and Colin; and many great-grandchildren. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Iowa City Hospice and Celebrate Life Cremation Service for their compassionate care and support. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM at their farm in Tiffin. Carroll will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
